DEADLINE : 30th September, 2016
Applications for the Asialink Arts 2017 Residency Program are open, inviting Australian arts professionals to apply for a range of residencies (different models, hosts, arts disciplines, countries etc.) across Asia.
The aim of Asialink’s Arts Residency Program is to create meaningful and enduring relationships between individuals and organisations in Australia and Asia. Asialink works in partnership with arts residency centres in the region to realise this goal. AsialinkArts Residencies are professional development opportunities, aimed at being mutually beneficial to both host and resident.
Since 1991 Asialink’s Arts Residency Program has provided professional development opportunities for arts professionals working in and across art forms, in exchange for the sharing of skills, knowledge and networks with local host communities. AsialinkArts Residencies are innovative, flexible and supportive, and are grounded in personal and enduring relationships. The program promotes sustained cross-cultural dialogue by facilitating reciprocal residencies and trialing new models of engagement.
Please view the residency hosts and models, application process, and eligibility guideline links before starting your application. Applicants must apply online.
