ISEA2013 will consist of exhibitions, performances, symposium and public events to be held in Sydney from the Friday 7th of June until Sunday 16th of June 2013. It will also support residencies and associated events throughout regional NSW and across Australia leading into and out of the core event.
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from artists and organisations wishing to develop, commission or present work in association with ISEA2013. Applicants whose projects are dependent on funding from other sources (i.e. government, philanthropic agencies, etc.) with deadlines approaching are particularly encouraged to apply now. Other applications would be preferred in later Rounds (please see dates below) when ISEA2013’s own funding position will be clearer.
ISEA2013 has limited funds to invest directly in new work and we are able to work with selected artists and organisations to secure resources, venues and partners for specific projects. We are also able to provide support letters and logistical support to selected projects.
In this round ISEA2013 is working with the Australia Council for The Arts to support a few major projects to secure support through the Creative Australia program. Applicants interested in these opportunities are encouraged to submit in this round. Short listed projects may be asked to submit, with our support, an Australia Council application form.
