An international call is open to ceramics artists for the 9th International Ceramic Biennale – City of Talavera in central Spain. The Local Autonomous Body of Culture of the City Hall of Talavera de la Reina announces
the IX International Ceramic Biennale “Ciudad de Talavera”.
The following cash awards will be made:
First Award in the Traditional Ceramics category: € 4.500
Second Award in the Traditional Ceramics category: € 2.500
First Award in the Contemporary Ceramics category: € 4.500
Second Award in the Contemporary Ceramics category: € 2.500

Entry period: until 28th February 2019
Exhibition: from 24th May to 29th June 2019
- Applicants may submit one or several original never exhibited art works made from at least 80% ceramic materials. Factory-produced pieces and works exhibited in other competitions will not be admitted.
- Pieces may measure up to 200 x 200 cm and shall be at least 30 cm long one of their dimensions.
