This exhibition presents the new work by one of Brisbane’s leading watercolour artists, Bruce Buchanan. Influenced by the outback and coastal areas of Australia, as well as a recent visit to Italy, Bruce’s work explores forms and tonal contrasts of structures within the urban, rural and industrial landscapes. At present, Bruce is pushing the boundaries of watercolour in both technique and subject, and is renowned for the extraordinary skill and attention to detail shown in his works.
