Cut Thumb Laundry warmly invite you to our first collaborative event for the year, Gimme Gimme More! A fundraising night full of beer, punch, snags and ART, all to raise funds for our collaborative efforts as the new ARI in residence at Metro Arts.
Borrowing from Britney Spears’ 2007 single, Gimme Gimme More! will feature some of our favourites from Whynot and ashfield street in a silent auction. Line-Up Annoucements to follow in the lead up to the night. Auction will run from 4pm and last bids will be taken strictly at 8pm.
Bring your lobsters, pineapples and granny smith apples, there is going to be a ripper of a selection of works on offer for you to bid on, and know that 60% of the final bid goes directly to the artist.
We’ll have decent beer and the usual suspects, plus BBQ offerings (including vegetarian options). Gold coins can be accepted here.
So get on down to the Laundry at 3 Ashfield Street, East Brisbane on the 28th of January and let’s kick off the 2017 art year how we do best.
