Introduction to Paper Cutting with Elysha Rei
Get crafty with a blade in an introductory workshop in the traditional artform of paper cutting. This workshop includes a brief presentation about the history and contemporary practice of paper cutting, before a practical hands-on session with Elysha Rei. Participants will learn the essential safety, design and cutting techniques through simple exercises and templates, then be guided to create their own finished design using a craft blade. Walk away with a finished paper cut, a workshop booklet and the confidence to pursue this medium with your own creative ideas.
All materials and a light afternoon tea is supplied. Please bring your own lunch, ideas and creative energy.
