Deadline:

Institute of Modern Art

The IMA will be transformed into a one-night-only club by artist Anastasia Booth in this First Thursdays event not-to-be-missed.

‘Preaching to the Perverted: Club Issue’ is the collision of Booth’s interests in fetish culture, Freudian psychoanalysis, and classical ideas of desire. Booth will make over the IMA Screening Room as a dungeon-like venue, bathed in red light, for performance, music, and subversive self-expression. Embrace your alter-ego with costumes crafted by Booth in latex, leather, and rope (or bring your own). With new performances by Booth throughout the evening, Shibari rope tying demonstrations, and a DJ spinning tunes to get you in the mood.
