Fish Lane Studios is an exciting new space located within a unique venue in the centre of Brisbane’s South Bank cultural precinct. The venue will be launched in August 2013.
We are calling for expressions of interest from Artist Run Initiatives to be considered for the inaugural ARI HOTEL. Four artist run initiatives will each be awarded a self contained studio space during the first week of September to create site-specific works over 5 week period.
The ARI HOTEL project aims to create, discuss and launch new work, project and ideas. Works created during the residency will be displayed in various locations around the venue including purpose built gallery space and screening room.
Residents will be involved in Fish Lane’s public programs including artist talks and exhibition openings, which will be documented and actively promoted to new audiences through an extensive media campaign.
Please register your interest by emailing through a brief statement about your ARI, including members/artists, 5 small jpeg images of recent projects and a brief description (no more than one page) on how your ARI might use the residency over the five-week period to info@iamprojects.net

Shortlisted residence will be notified mid July.
