We are now inviting Queensland-based early-career artists who are pushing the limits in their chosen field of visual arts, craft and design to apply to participate in artisan’s biennial exhibition Unleashed April 4 – May 2020. Drawing together a small cohort of early-career practitioners, Unleashed explores the convergence between craft and design. Whether you are producing cutting-edge ceramics, fashion or jewellery design – we’re interested in seeing examples of the fresh and exciting work you are creating.
To apply, please prepare a short Expression of Interest including:
– a few paragraphs about your practice
– five to ten images of your recent work in low res jpeg format or a link to images on your website, with details of title, medium and size for each
– a short bio or artist cv including when and where you have studied and exhibitions you’ve participated in

From these proposals, a shortlist of artists will be asked to meet with the Curator to discuss their work before the final group of artists is chosen.
