Discard those traditional lino tools to explore mark making with David on this two day workshop using a drill. Learn to integrate pattern & layers within a composition using geometry& nature as your inspiration.
In the past seven years print making has been David’s main focus in a multi-media art practice. The innovative use of a drill or dremel in linocuts is particularly significant to this.
The development of personal vocabularies and processes, presence of an art work, response to materials, embodying ideas, aesthetics and communication are of primary importance to David. Exhibiting regularly, his art is a part of national and international collections.
Participants will be introduced to making linocuts with a drill. Explore your composition over two days & print them off on the press.
