Each year, Artbank staff travel to each state to meet with unrepresented artists to view, and potentially acquire their work for the Artbank Collection. The IMA is excited to host the South East Queensland stop on the 2020 Artbank Roadshow, Friday 3 April. We are pleased to announce that one successful artist from the Roadshow will be awarded a solo exhibition at IMA Belltower.
Artists are invited to apply by submitting up to 10 new or existing works for consideration via the online portal. Shortlisted artists will meet with the Artbank team to discuss their practice. One successful artist selected for acquisition will be awarded the exhibition opportunity.
The successful applicant will receive an artist fee and support from IMA staff to develop and present their work at IMA Belltower, a program dedicated to Queensland art.
