Since opening in 2004 it has been an absolute pleasure showing a range of diverse and talented artists as well as receiving consistent support from collectors, curators and engaged audience members. Jan Manton Gallery’s next iteration and new branding strives to reflect the strength of its community as well as take cues from the rich history of the area. When designing the new space, architects Sullivan & Skinner took full advantage of Teneriffe’s industrial past, converting a ground floor commercial space into a leading contemporary art gallery. Residing on a main road, the space is easily accessible and is within walking distance from the Commercial Street bus station and the Teneriffe City Cat and Ferry Wharf. From July 17th we are open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am – 5pm and Sunday’s 11am – 4pm. To ensure a first look at the new space and Natalie Lavelle’s latest exhibition Deliberate Pictures we urge you to book an appointment as spaces are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Set amongst the vibrant cafe and bar culture of this area, Jan Manton Gallery looks forward to welcoming you into our new space with an exciting line-up of artists set to show for the remainder of 2020. |
