Botanica – Contemporary Art Outside 2021-24 Request for Proposal
Botanica – Contemporary Art Outside is an annual 10 evening event (5-10pm) in May that showcases contemporary art in the City Botanic Gardens.
Brisbane City Council is seeking proposals for a producer, producing team, or creative organisation to develop, program and deliver the Botanica 2022 event, with an option to extend for an additional two years – 2023, and 2024.
The producer will present a high-quality arts and cultural program that includes a balanced showcase of contemporary art and creative installations, that is supported by a range of public programming and social activities.
The Request for Proposal opportunity will be open from late August for a four-week period.
How to apply:
All applicants must register with Council’s Supplier Portal, in order to submit their proposal.

Note: Once you have submitted your registration, it will take approximately two business days for your account details to be verified and become active. You will receive two email notifications from Council once your account is active, containing your username and password.
Second Step:
If you have submitted your registration and are waiting for your account to be activated, you can email the eTendering Team to request the RFP documents. Please use the RFP# 511602 Title: Botanica – Production and Event Management Services.
Third Step:
Once you have received your Supplier Portal username and password, you will need to login to the Supplier Portal and open the RFP # 511602 event and click on the Register button. This will ensure you receive any updates regarding this Request for Proposal and notify Council of your intention to submit a proposal.
Fourth Step:
To apply, submit response with the relevant attachments to Council’s Supplier Portal by 12 noon on Wednesday 29 September 2021.
Applicants will be advised of the outcome within approximately six weeks of the closing date.
