Sinclair Cole, Lisa Kelly, Wendy Ma and Kiki Zeng come together to share their responses on the collective need for safety, comfort and connection in times of uncertainty, compromise, isolation and restriction of movement. Expressed through the artist’s collaborative mediums of textiles, ceramics, drawing and paintings, this exhibition invites people to gather and reflect on personal pursuits of comfort and aims to cultivate resilience and wellbeing for the seasons of life ahead.
As the exhibition is themed around home and safety, the artists wish to donate a percentage of sales to ZigZag, a women’s resource centre that provides services to young women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and young women who are survivors of sexual violence.
Exhibition Opening: Saturday 16 July 6-9pm.
