‘Home’ had us yearning to escape. Moving through unsure times navigating the surreal landscapes.. or hellscapes. Artists have come together to create their own worlds of escape and what it means to liberate, retreat, dream or avoid. Hallucinatory scapes of inner and outer worlds, places we went to , when going nowhere was the only option.
Escape is a place of intrigue and allegory, responding not only to a previous exhibition from this collection of artists; ‘Home’ but it is also a conversation about the inability to move across boarders, over seas, or from the relentless news media.
