Join us for the Australian launch of our new publication ‘Richard Bell Reader: documenta fifteen’, and hear all the latest from the biggest of the international art world’s biennials, triennials and group exhibitions held every five years in Kassel, Germany!

Richard Bell, on a brief return visit home from Europe, will be joined co-editor Megan Tamati-Quennell, contributing author Professor Chelsea Watego and special guests to discuss Richard’s inclusion at documenta fifteen, his perspectives on the collectivist optimism of its agenda and the events that have unfolded over the 2022 iteration of this major art world event.

‘Richard Bell Reader: documenta fifteen’ was developed to contextualise Bell’s work for international audiences. Comprising texts by Chelsea Watego, Larissa Behrendt, Alan Michelson, Andrew McNamara, and Sylvia McAdam, the publication gives context and background to Bell’s documenta project and the specific histories he draws on, the broadsheet format publication also includes an interview with Bell and documenta fifteen’s curators, Jakarta based art initiative ruangrupa, as well as full colour reproductions of Bell’s most recent ‘History Paintings’.
