Join us on a three–part art historical journey that will trace universal themes seen across historic, modern and contemporary art. Links between artworks, including works from QAGOMA’s Collection will be illuminated. Discover the fascinating stories behind artists from the past through to Michael Zavros and eX de Medici.
The three sessions held on Saturday 5, 12 and 19 August will feature an in-depth lecture, followed by a Q&A with an Australian artist or curator. Hosted by Dr Andrea Bubenik (Senior Lecturer, School of Communication and Arts, The University of Queensland).
Attendees will receive an attendee pack with course materials, tea and coffee and access to all three sessions / Ticket price is inclusive of all three sessions – 5, 12 & 19 Aug / Please note – this Art Course will explore different themes and sessions than the course presented in 2022.
