The Culterim | Residencies programs have been a pillar of Culterim since the beginning. The aim of the residencies is to create places in which artists from different backgrounds can meet both artistically and personally.
The focus is on free artistic work, exchange and community. The moderated accompanying program guides the participants through the residency with weekly artist talks and presentations and creates an ongoing dialogue for the participants.
In addition to common rooms, all residents have access to a private lounge and a studio. Depending on the residency, there are also opportunities to use the workshop. In order to make the entire program possible, a flat fee applies depending on the residency.
At the end of a residency program, the resulting artworks are presented to the public in a group exhibition curated by Culterim.
