The Brisbane Portrait Prize celebrates the city of Brisbane/Meeanjin and its people, telling the stories of the courageous, creative and passionate people who make up our city.
It also showcases the best in contemporary portraiture, demonstrating that portraiture still excites the most accomplished of artists.
Any artist with a connection to Brisbane is eligible to enter. The sitter must also have a connection with Brisbane.
In 2025, over $100,000 of prizes and grants will be available.
