Deadline: 4 June

Blak Dot Gallery is inviting First Nations and BIPOC artists working in video or moving image to take part in Round the Block—a six-week public screening series designed to transform the gallery’s glass frontage into a circular storytelling portal.

Three artists will be selected to present one work each, shown in a rotating two-week format. Works will be visible from the street through a unique circular projection format, creating an immersive window for experimental video.

This opportunity includes an artist fee, full technical and installation support, and visibility in one of Melbourne’s most vibrant artist-run spaces. Whether adapting an existing work or creating something new, artists are encouraged to submit daring, bold, and imaginative pieces that push the boundaries of form and content.
