The Cité Internationale des Arts is a non-profit international arts centre in Paris, offering studio accommodation for artists and scholars from around the world. In partnership with the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Australian visual artists and researchers are invited to apply for a three-month studio residency in either the Moya Dyring Studio or the Dr Denise Hickey Memorial Studio.
Residency Periods Available in 2026:
-
January – March
-
April – June
-
July – September
-
October – December
Residency recipients will also be considered for funding support through the Eva Breuer Travelling Art Scholarship or the Dyason Bequest. There is no need to apply separately for these scholarships—applicants for the Cité studio residency will be automatically considered.
This is a significant professional development opportunity for mid-career and established Australian visual artists and researchers working across all media.
