Calling all artists! Entries are now open for the Small Works Art Prize 2026, Australia’s largest exhibition dedicated to small-scale works — each measuring no more than 35 × 35 × 35 cm.
Celebrating creativity in all its forms, this open-entry prize welcomes artists of every background, from emerging to established, across all mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, textiles, and mixed media. Every submission will be exhibited in a vibrant showcase that attracts collectors, curators, and art lovers from across the country.
The 2026 exhibition will run 4–17 January 2026, featuring hundreds of works that prove small art can make a big impact. With over $14,000 in prizes, the award includes major cash prizes, solo exhibition opportunities, and special commendations supported by Art Guide Australia, Craft Victoria, and Art Shed.
Prizes include:
