The Blake Prize has long stood as one of Australia’s most respected and thought-provoking art awards, inviting artists to engage deeply with ideas of spirituality, faith, and human existence. Established in 1951, the prize continues to celebrate works that challenge, question, and inspire through contemporary artistic expression.

The 69th Blake Prize celebrates artists who push the boundaries of how spirituality and religion can be understood through art. From painting, sculpture, and installation to video, sound, performance, photography, and digital media, the Blake Prize embraces experimentation and diversity in form and thought.
