The annual Side Gallery end-of-year show is titled TENFOLD, marking a decade of creative practice, collaboration, and creative community.
This year’s theme, Nostalgia ~ Remembering, extends an invitation to artists to look back — to reflect on time, memory, and the stories we carry forward, selectively or otherwise. It’s a fitting concept for our tenth year, as we pause to acknowledge the many moments, exhibitions, and relationships that have shaped Side Gallery since its beginning.
Curator Laura Brinin invites artists to respond to this idea of remembering — whether through revisiting past concepts and reimagining earlier ideas, or exploring how memory weaves through materials and making.
“TENFOLD is both a celebration and a reflection. A decade of Side has allowed us to witness art’s ability to hold time — to remind us of who we were, what we’ve become, and what remains constant. In looking back, we discover how creativity multiplies; how every small act of making, showing, and sharing grows the community tenfold.” — Laura Brinin
