This summer, audiences are invited to experience one of the City of Moreton Bay’s most loved collection works. Imperfect pattern L (field of vision) by Lincoln Austin is a monumental geometric sculpture composed of more than 5,500 pieces of corflute. Playing with perception, colour, and optics, the work creates an immersive, large-scale visual environment.
Austin’s practice explores the systems and patterns that shape the built environment. Alongside the sculpture, visitors are encouraged to engage creatively in an interactive engagement space inspired by the work.
Imperfect Pattern is the first exhibition in a new immersive series connecting audiences with artworks from the City of Moreton Bay Art Collection.
