Gasworks Arts Park: 2026 Exhibition Program

Deadline:

Deadline: April 5

Gasworks Arts Park invites applications for its 2026 Exhibition Program, open to artists across Australia, including Brisbane-based practitioners.

This opportunity includes two gallery spaces: the Angela Robarts-Bird (ARB) Gallery, a white box exhibition space, and the James McCaughey Foyer Gallery, a high-traffic, multi-use space ideal for group exhibitions. Gasworks welcomes multidisciplinary proposals from emerging to established artists, including painting, sculpture, video, installation, performance, photography, and mixed media.

Applications are open to both solo artists and groups. Artists with experimental practices are encouraged to apply, and enquiries are welcomed prior to submission.

While Gasworks is based in Melbourne, Brisbane artists are eligible to apply. International artists are also welcome, provided they have an Australian-based contact to assist with installation and logistics.

Located in Albert Park, Gasworks Arts Park is a major cultural precinct combining galleries, theatres, studios, and parklands, engaging over 100,000 visitors annually. Exhibiting at Gasworks offers artists exposure to a broad and diverse audience.
