Artists living in the Somerset region are invited to submit Expressions of Interest for Year of the Horse, an upcoming exhibition at The Condensery.
Across cultures and mythologies, the horse is a powerful symbol of joy, perseverance, and freedom. Within the Somerset region, horses continue to play a significant role in community life, making them a rich source of inspiration for this exhibition.
This group exhibition will bring together Somerset-based artists working across a range of mediums to produce new work responding to the symbolism of the horse, as well as personal connections to horses within the region.
Selected artists will receive curatorial support from The Condensery, assisting in both the conceptual development and technical realisation of their work.
