Prisma Art Prize has opened submissions for its 20th edition, inviting painters, illustrators, printmakers and traditional 2D artists from around the world to apply.
Based in Rome, the international award celebrates contemporary painting and two-dimensional practice, welcoming a broad range of approaches from figurative and abstract works to experimental image-making. Selected finalists receive a permanent online gallery, editorial features and eligibility for the annual awards.
The prize culminates in a group exhibition at Palazzo Merulana in Rome, opening on 5 November, with additional opportunities including cash prizes, solo exhibitions, artist residencies and publication in the official exhibition catalogue.
