Art Center Ongoing is inviting applications for its Ongoing AIR residency program, a two-month international residency based in Kichijoji, Tokyo.
Open to artists and curators from Japan and overseas, the residency provides private accommodation, an exhibition opportunity and access to Art Center Ongoing’s gallery, library and creative community. Established in 2013, the program supports experimental contemporary practice across visual art, sculpture, performance, new media and filmmaking.
Located within a not-for-profit art complex founded in 2008, Art Center Ongoing hosts exhibitions, performances, talks and workshops, fostering exchange between local and international artists. Residents conclude their stay with a public exhibition and artist talk.
