Entries are now open for the Calleen Art Award 2026, one of Australia’s longest-running acquisitive painting prizes. Established in 1977, the annual award celebrates originality, creativity and excellence in contemporary Australian painting across any style, theme or subject.
Open to artists from across Australia, the winning artwork will receive the $30,000 acquisitive prize and become part of the Calleen Collection at Cowra Regional Art Gallery. Visitors to the exhibition can also vote for the People’s Choice Award, valued at $1,000.
