Museum of Brisbane marks ten years of its Artist in Residence program with In Residence: A Decade of Creative Practice, a retrospective exhibition celebrating a decade of creative practice, artistic exchange and experimentation.
The exhibition brings together works from the Museum of Brisbane Collection by artists including Mia Boe, Gerwyn Davies and Elizabeth Willing, alongside artist interviews, archival digital content and publications from previous residency projects. The program has supported more than 100 artists and over 50 original projects across visual art, photography, sculpture, painting, drawing, sound, performance, dance and other creative forms.
The exhibition is accompanied by a creative workshop series, including Drawing Together with Man&Wah on 17 October 2026, Drawing the Dome with Robert Brownhall on 13 February 2027, and Portraiture Drawing with Tori-Jay Mordey on 6 March 2027. Workshop tickets are $55 general and $50 for Museum of Brisbane members.
