Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) invites Expressions of Interest from art centres, commercial galleries, not-for-profit arts organisations, independent artists, artist groups and collectives, and artist-run initiatives to exhibit in the CIAF 2027 Art Fair Showcase.
The showcase brings together First Nations artists, practices and perspectives from across Queensland and the Torres Strait. CIAF particularly encourages artists and organisations that have not previously exhibited with the fair to apply.
The Art Fair Showcase is open to First Nations artists at emerging, mid-career and established stages of their practice. Artists must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and either reside in Queensland or have familial ties to Queensland.
