Ecosciences Precinct

A group of accomplished artists have been in residence working with scientists at the Ecosciences Precinct for 6 months. The eight artists of the‘Curiosity AIRS’ collective are Alicia Lane, Ben Beeton, Jane James, Jennifer Wright, Knut Mueller, Louise Saunders, Mali Moir & William M Boot.  An exhibition of the interpretations and collaborations of the Artists in Residence-Science (AIRS) Collective will be on show for the first time including:artworks from AIRS residency—both solo and collaborative works; examples of their previous works; and works from other Queensland Artists-in-Residence. The Art-meets-Science Exhibition will feature over 30 artworks across a range of media (sculpture, installation, painting, digital and more) and the work of the scientists who inspired them. Located in the foyer of the Ecosciences Precinct, Dutton Park it is also home to Café Eco.
