A Narrow Strip Along a Steep Edge is a site-responsive contemporary art exhibition set within the historic grounds of Fort Lytton. Engaging with the fort’s unique legacy as an untested military defense structure, the exhibition explores broader themes of protection, exclusion, and transformation. Through installations, sculpture, and performance, participating artists examine the shifting nature of borders—physical, conceptual, and historical.
