Aaron Butt’s Master of Fine Arts (Research) graduate exhibition Missed Encounter II explores disavowal and apophenia as studio processes, presenting a system-based salon of seemingly disparate objects to facilitate a space for unexpected, subjective and affective (missed) encounters.
