Join Hobie Porter to explore colour and tonal analysis in cloudscape painting. Hobie will share his artistic techniques with you over the two day workshop, in a structured & layered oil painting process from beginning to end. Sharpen your perception of tone & colour, and hence your ability to mix the colours you are after. Hobie maintains that the production of any oil painting requires a layering of paint in distinct stages; each stage allowing the artist to shift into different modes (and mediums) of working. To this end, Hobie will demonstrate on his own cloudscape throughout this masterclass, while allocating you time to explore the logic within each stage of your own cloudscape painting.
