Alun Rhys Jones’s eclectic new exhibition ‘The Last Days of Dionysus’ II investigates the use of body, celebrity, form, language and colour in contemporary consumer culture. Through four separate but connected series of works, Rhys Jones explores the ‘kaleidoscopic’ design experience of consumerism.

Alun Rhys Jones has been a finalist in a long list of established exhibitions such as the Waverley Art Prize, Salon des Refuses and the Chippendale New World Art Prize. He has been a semi-finalist in the prestigious Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and won the Painting Award for the 2013 North Sydney Art Prize.
