An Intimate Distance

16th September

Online Exhibtion

Launching September 16, An Intimate Distance is an online group exhibition displayed on the SGAR website. It will feature new works from four emerging local artists: Holly Anderson, Jessie Lee Nash, Kristian Fracchia, and Bennett Gordon, all working in the area of figurative painting. The paintings in the exhibition centre on a recurring dichotomy of distance and intimacy, through, for example, depictions of strangers and the self, or the use of technology to obscure or increase the closeness of the viewer to the subject.
