A Repetitive Cycle by Anna Boghiguian, a series of mixed media drawings on parchment paper. The work interweaves the history of the Spanish flu epidemic that spread towards the end of World War I, claiming more than 50 million lives between 1918 and 1920 with an account of the recent Covid-19 pandemic. The work was commissioned for the exhibition Espressioni at the Castello di Rivoli, Turin. Anna Boghiguian was the recent winner of the 2024 Wolfgang Hahn Prize.
