‘(w)Hole Thing Theatre’ is an exhibition completed in fulfilment of the requirements of Anthony Elliott Baker’s degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Baker’s candidature inquires how dissociative phenomena can re-imagine self-portraiture and destabilise interpretation of the by-proxy encounter.

(w)Hole Thing Theatre explores the disintegration and creation of narratives constructing self-identity within the Interpassive experiences of an art praxis which trawls trauma. Distanciated and generative processes applied to sculptural materials and digital applications reiterate the incomprehensible of personal ideation into ambiguous tropes of a collective realm of becoming
