Mnemonic landscapes half-remembered through the haze of sun reflecting off plunging hills, landscapes slide from the haze of memory bleeding into bright smears. Ingrained mines the mental topography of memory to draw out emotional landscapes of Ari Athans own life. Time and place are compressed into bleary recollections, where individual points of focus stand out amidst foggy moments. In some images the landscape itself falls away, the points of light from the sun being all that remains upon a closed eyelid.
