UNLEASHED+ 2026 is a major exhibition celebrating Queensland’s emerging craft and design practitioners, presented by artisan in collaboration with HOTA, Home of the Arts.
For more than two decades, UNLEASHED has provided an important platform for early-career makers and designers, connecting emerging practitioners with national curators, collectors and industry professionals. Since its inception in 2004, the biennial exhibition has played a significant role in launching the careers of many of Queensland’s leading contemporary craft and design artists.
The 2026 edition marks a new chapter for the exhibition, expanding through a partnership with HOTA on the Gold Coast. UNLEASHED+ showcases work by twelve finalists alongside the 2025–2026 artisan Residents, highlighting innovation and excellence across contemporary craft and design practice.
