Pine Rivers Art Gallery is proud to host a two-day intensive art workshop by Flying Arts Alliance Inc.
The workshop is designed for early-career artists and arts workers. The workshop will focus on networking, how to pitch your artwork and collaboration skills. These skills are essential for any contemporary artist. You will also cover building an artist portfolio, which includes:
- an artist CV
- an artist biography
- artwork statement/s
- online presence.
Facilitated by Doctor Louise Mayhew, this workshop is perfect for developing new professional content. It is also great for critically revising your current documents. So you can focus on your main love of creating art.

- Your current bio, CV and artist statement (if applicable)

About the presenter
Doctor Louise R Mayhew is an Australian feminist art historian. She is based in Redcliffe on Gubbi Gubbi (Kabi Kabi) and Ningy Ningy country. Following a decade of teaching art history, Louise freelances as an art writer, editor, and mentor for creatives throughout Australia. She is the Founding Editor of Lemonade: art criticism for the Sunshine State, and her writing appears in Art Almanac, Art Monthly Australia, Eyeline, SUNNIE, and more. Louise is excited about art. She believes that all artists deserve enthusiastic, accessible, goal-oriented support.
