The University of Tasmania’s Cradle Coast campus seeks to support established artists who are interested in exploring their interpretations and perspectives of the North-West region.
Since its inception in 2011, the Artist in Residence program has been open to local, interstate and international professional artists working in a range of creative disciplines.
A $5000 grant is offered each year to a successful established applicant to support their residency and the production of work which has relevance to the North-West Tasmanian community.
The successful applicant may choose to work from the University’s Mooreville Road site, within Makers’ Workshop at the West Park precinct, or at a self-nominated location in the region.
