After nearly seven years of experimentation, House Conspiracy presents Artists in Residence, a special 38-minute experimental documentary premiering just in time for the organisation’s 10th anniversary.
Created by filmmakers Joseph Lynch, Charlton Lansley, and Ethan Bourke, the film offers a visually immersive journey through the house—moving in and out of projections that form a patchwork of the many artists and practices that have shaped the space. It is both a celebration of grassroots art and an ode to the resilient Queenslander building that has stood its ground against development.
This “art house film about an art house” invites audiences to experience the work in the very place it was inspired by, creating a unique and site-responsive screening.
Doors open at 6:00pm for a 7:00pm screening. All are welcome to attend and share in this milestone moment with the House Conspiracy community.
