As part of Artist Hannah Gutchen’s debut Solo Exhibition ‘KAKA NALI – I AM’ at The Third Quarter, Gutchen will be facilitating an inclusive basket weaving workshop at the gallery.
Using Traditional Torres Strait Island weaving practices, Artist Hannah Gutchen invites participants to stimulate a converastion centred around narratives of self reflection, empowerment & sovereignty. Through an active weaving circle, participants will gain insight into traditional weaving techniques and enjoy focused, inclusive conversation – seated amongst Hannah’s exhibited Artworks.
