BBA Gallery invites visual artists from all backgrounds to submit work for the 2027 edition of its flagship Artist Prize. Open to emerging and established artists worldwide, the prize celebrates visual excellence across contemporary disciplines.
Selected artists will gain international exposure, Artsy profile coverage and opportunities for promotion through BBA Gallery’s channels. Shortlisted artists will be included in a physical group exhibition at BBA Gallery in Berlin.
Prizes and opportunities:

First Prize: €1,000 cash prize, solo exhibition at BBA Gallery, Artsy profile and international promotion.

Second Prize: €700 cash prize, Artsy profile and online promotion.

Third Prize: €500 cash prize, Artsy profile and online promotion.

Audience Award: €300 cash prize, Artsy profile and online promotion.

Shortlist: Physical group exhibition at BBA Gallery in Berlin.

Artist Features: Selected applicants may be featured across BBA channels during the open call.
Eligibility and submission requirements:

Open globally to visual artists aged 18 and over.

All mediums accepted, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, performance and mixed media.

Up to five image uploads per entry, maximum 3 MB each.

Applications require the artist’s name and contact details, an artist statement of up to 300 words, a CV or exhibition list, and artwork specifications including title, medium, dimensions, edition and year.
