A new award open to all Australian artists offering all finalists $1,000.00 artist fee and and a chance to be awarded the first prize of $10,000.00. The first award of its kind, will be held within the streets, alleyways parks on and in the buildings of this unique heritage and culturally significant village setting.
The Beechworth Contemporary Art Award will be COVID friendly free public exhibition inviting artists to exhibit artwork temporarily for 3 days with an online public program to complement the diverse works which will on display. Predominantly outdoors, artists working with a variety of media; projections, pasteups, soft and hard sculpture, installation, sound and light, 2D , 3D and 4D are encouraged to apply.
