Unknown Sector Of The Universe is a solo exhibition by Brisbane artist and musician Ben Ely, presenting a collection of paintings that imagine a realm beyond ordinary perception. Through vibrant imagery and speculative forms, Ely constructs a world detached from the constraints of time, memory and known reality.
The exhibition explores the idea of creating a sanctuary through the accumulation of present moments. Ely describes this imagined space as a place beyond stars and form—a distant location known only to those who encounter it.
