Between Home & Horizon: Exhibition Call Out

Deadline:

Deadline: June 21

Between Home & Horizon is an open call exhibition inviting artists to explore the natural world that exists both within and beyond our everyday environments. From backyard gardens and suburban wildlife to expansive rural landscapes and rugged coastlines, this exhibition brings together diverse artistic responses to the ecosystems that surround us.

Artists are encouraged to reflect on the relationship between people and place, revealing both the quiet, intimate beauty of nearby environments and the awe-inspiring scale of broader Australian landscapes. Works can span a wide range of mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, installation, sound, and new media.

The exhibition is structured across four thematic sections:

  • The Familiar Wild: Backyards, gardens, and micro-ecosystems
